Outstanding location looking over portpatrick village. Clean comfortable room, probably needs a bit of tlc. We had tge superior room.with veranda. Breakfast was very tasty and staff were extremely helpful. Will return very soon
We recently visited portpatrick. We did not know much about the area and were so glad we booked this hotel compared to others. It was lovely, authentic, and Rosie the manager was nothing but kind. She even helped us find a taxi. We had dinner at the hotel and it was also lovely. Just a short walk to town and the golf course. We hope that at some point we can come back and book here! The view is something from a movie! You won't regret staying here! Request a sea view for sure:)
We had a wonderful one night stay here. The room we got was amazing with a stunning view of the town and the sea. The room was quiet, which we loved, and had everything you could need for a lovely stay. We enjoyed the beautiful and vast bathroom which was like something out of a 5 star suite. The breakfast ext morning was lovely and again you had a view of the sea to enjoy while enjoying breakfast. Overall a lovely stay
Superior sea view room had excellent views and a comfortable bed. Outside patio area would be a lovely place to sit and relax when weather permits. Great stay. Staff very friendly and professional. Lovely meal and breakfast.

Great hotel, fantastic views of Portpatrick, everyone of the staff are friendly and helpful, they are a true credit to this hotel. Rooms where lovely and very spacious. Food was delicious. They are extremely pet Friendly as is most of Portpatrick town. We will definitely be back at the Fernhill they are also very reasonable priced.
Perched at the top of a cliff overlooking the village, the view from the dining area and some of the rooms is a delight, even at night. There is parking at the front of the hotel, round to the side is an extension so most visitors will get a space. The room we had was spacious with a good sized bathroom and bath. Comfortable beds made for a good night's sleep. We had breakfast and evening meals here over our 2 night stay. The service was good, the food tasty and satisfying. We enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay at the Fernhill and have stayed there before. We booked a superior room with a small terrace overlooking Portpatrick, which had a wonderful view. The room itself was very tired and needs updated, due to old, scruffy furniture and fittings. Although there was a really good shower inside the bath, the bathroom itself was very dated and the flush button on top of the wc was missing. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff were exceptional, friendly and efficient and very welcoming
